Ukrainian authorities have declared the start of mass production for an innovative locally engineered interceptor drone to reinforce its aerial protection systems. The first three manufacturers have begun manufacturing, with 11 more preparing to establish assembly lines, Ukrainian military officials stated this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Tested in Combat Conditions

The drones utilize a domestically developed system called “Octopus” designed to intercept Iranian-made drones. This technology has been tested in actual battle and demonstrated effective “during nighttime, under jamming and at low altitudes,” officials stated. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy established a target of producing as many as 1,000 interceptors each day.

Recent Assault on Kyiv Characterized as Calculated
